QUICK NOTES FOR COACHES:
A pitcher who delivers 41 or more pitches in a game cannot play the position of catcher.

If a catchers players 4 or more innings at catcher, that player cannot pitch that game

If a pitcher reaches a day of rest threshold while facing a batter, the pitcher may complete that at bat in that inning of play.

PITCH COUNT RULES
1-20 pitches = no rest required 
21-35 = one calendar day
36-50 = two calendar days
51-65 = three calendar days
66 or more = four calendar days

PITCH RULES BY POSITION
Pitchers who throw 41 or more pitches in game CANNOT play position of catcher
Catchers who catch for 4 or more innings CANNOT pitch

PITCH RULES BY AGE:
Ages 13-16 – 95 pitches per day
Ages 11-12 – 85 pitches per day
Ages 9-10 – 75 pitches per day
Ages 7-8 – 50 pitches per day

Rule of Thumb: Keep players @ 50 pitches or under
it increases opportunities for other players while helping your team develop pitchers
BUT, the rules are the rules and you're 100% correct to max pitch based on age
