Northampton Baseball offers these levels of play if there enough players and coaches to field teams.

League Age 7 & 8 Coach Pitch:
The purpose of this level is to begin the process of teaching the game of baseball, develop the basic skills necessary to play the game, and introduce the children to the basic rules of the game.
Teams are created by the board of directors after player evaluations.
Games are usually played against teams from other communities in our district.
League Age 9& 10 Minors (10U): 46/60 field
Minor league is primarily a developmental program for the Major League.
Players must demonstrate a consistent ability to throw and catch a baseball
Players will enjoy both skills development and competition.
Teams are created by the board of directors after player evaluations.
Games are usually played against teams from other communities in our district.
League Age 11&12 Majors (12U): 46/60 field
Major league will continue to provide the best balance of skills development and competition.
Teams are created by the board of directors after player evaluations.
Games are usually played against teams from other communities in our district.
League Age 13 Intermediate Division: 50/70 field
Intermediate division uses an expanded diamond with longer base paths (70 feet as compared to 60 feet in majors) and pitching distance
(50 feet away from home plate, compared to 46 feet in majors) to prepare kids for the full size 90’ diamond used for high school and beyond.
Teams are created by the board of directors after player evaluations.
The team will travel to play against surrounding area programs.
Games are usually played against teams from other communities in our district.
